While in the area, we suggest these dining options:

COLLEYVILLE: Gloria's, next to Colleyville Center, for Salvadorian cuisine.  Piccomollo, next to Colleyville Center, for excellent Italian-style gelato ice cream.

GRAPEVINE: Charlie's Cafe, on far N. Main Street. Delicious chicken fried steak, meatloaf, side vegetables, homemade rolls and that killer coconut cream pie!  Esparza's, on Worth Street just east of Main, for tasty Tex-Mex.  South Prairie Oyster Bar, south edge of historic downtown Grapevine for  fried oyster po' boys.

FT. WORTH:  Angelo's Barbecue, White Settlement Road just west of the Trinity River. Good brisket and cold beer. A traditional Ft. Worth hang out.  Bavarian Bakery & Café, Wichita St. and S Loop 820. Fantastic German food. Open for lunch M-Sat, dinner F-Sat only.  Caro's, Bluebonnet Circle at south end of University Blvd., "DFW's best, most-unique Tex-Mex!" One of the oldest restaurants in Cowtown. You can order a suckling pig for a large party ahead of time. Espanarza's, 1 block from Joe T's, "delicious chicken migas breakfast." Joe T. Garcia's, just south of Stockyards, east of Main St., "classic Tex-Mex."  Jubilee Cafe, 2736 W. Seventh, Voted 2nd best CFS served with chunky mashed potatoes, greens or fries.  Luby's Cafeteria, (several locations), "top local cafeteria." Ideal restaurant for older chasers. A favorite of veteran storm chaser Al Moller.  National Weather Service Forecast Office, Northern Cross Blvd. just west of Beach Street in N. Ft. Worth, "always a batch of hot wings and pizza sitting around." Very friendly staff. Best NWS forecast office in the country. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Paris Coffee Shop, 700 W. Magnolia Ave., for CFS, mashed potatoes and lima beans.  Riskey's B-BQ, northeast side of Sundance Square on Main St. in Downtown, for delicious B-BQ.

ROANOKE: Babe's Chicken, 104 N. Oak St., for CFS, fried chicken, whipped potatoes, creamed corn and huge biscuits for an artery-clogging but tasty meal.
