TESSA 2009 National Storm Conference
Directions
The TESSA 2009 National Storm Conference will take place on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at the Colleyville Center in Colleyville, Texas. The Super Storm Spotter Session will begin in the followed by a break for lunch. The remainder of the presentations will then continue through the afternoon. The conference is free and open to the public. Arrive early, seating is limited to 500.

Colleyville Center is centrally located to Highways 121, 360, 183, and 26. The Center offers easy accessibility from any area of the Metroplex.
FROM NORTH DALLAS: Take 635 West toward DFW North Airport Entrance, to Highway 121 South; Exit Hall-Johnson Road, Go West on Hall-Johnson Road 2.6 miles to Riverwalk Drive, turn left on Riverwalk, go one block to stop sign. Colleyville Center will be on the left.
FROM FORT WORTH: Take Highway 121 North; Exit Hall Johnson, go West on Glade Road 3 miles to Riverwalk Drive, turn left and continue to first stop sign, Colleyville Center is on the left.
FROM ARLINGTON: Take Highway 360 North; Exit Glade Road, Go West on Glade Road 4.6 miles to Riverwalk Drive, Go North on Riverwalk Drive, Colleyville Center will be on the right.

COLLEYVILLE: Gloria's, next to Colleyville Center, for Salvadorian cuisine. Piccomollo, next to Colleyville Center, for excellent Italian-style gelato ice cream.
GRAPEVINE: Charlie's Cafe, on far N. Main Street. Delicious chicken fried steak, meatloaf, side vegetables, homemade rolls and that killer coconut cream pie! Esparza's, on Worth Street just east of Main, for tasty Tex-Mex. South Prairie Oyster Bar, south edge of historic downtown Grapevine for fried oyster po' boys.
FT. WORTH: Angelo's Barbecue, White Settlement Road just west of the Trinity River. Good brisket and cold beer. A traditional Ft. Worth hang out. Bavarian Bakery & Café, Wichita St. and S Loop 820. Fantastic German food. Open for lunch M-Sat, dinner F-Sat only. Caro's, Bluebonnet Circle at south end of University Blvd., "DFW's best, most-unique Tex-Mex!" One of the oldest restaurants in Cowtown. You can order a suckling pig for a large party ahead of time. Espanarza's, 1 block from Joe T's, "delicious chicken migas breakfast." Joe T. Garcia's, just south of Stockyards, east of Main St., "classic Tex-Mex." Jubilee Cafe, 2736 W. Seventh, Voted 2nd best CFS served with chunky mashed potatoes, greens or fries. Luby's Cafeteria, (several locations), "top local cafeteria." Ideal restaurant for older chasers. A favorite of veteran storm chaser Al Moller. National Weather Service Forecast Office, Northern Cross Blvd. just west of Beach Street in N. Ft. Worth, "always a batch of hot wings and pizza sitting around." Very friendly staff. Best NWS forecast office in the country. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Paris Coffee Shop, 700 W. Magnolia Ave., for CFS, mashed potatoes and lima beans. Riskey's B-BQ, northeast side of Sundance Square on Main St. in Downtown, for delicious B-BQ.
ROANOKE: Babe's Chicken, 104 N. Oak St., for CFS, fried chicken, whipped potatoes, creamed corn and huge biscuits for an artery-clogging but tasty meal.
